Hi, I’m Dustin Ray Shannon — a passionate historian, published author, and dedicated real estate professional licensed in Alabama and Kansas. Whether I’m uncovering forgotten cemeteries, preserving the stories of America’s past, or helping clients buy and sell homes, everything I do is driven by a love for storytelling, place, and people.

My real estate journey began with a childhood fascination for historic homes and a deep appreciation for architecture and community. That passion led me to earn licenses in multiple states and build a reputation for honesty, creativity, and results — especially when it comes to unique and historic properties.

Outside of real estate, I’m the author of numerous history-inspired books, including Possession at Joyland, Whispers of the Prairie: The Chico Chronicles, and Defunct Amusement Parks of Alabama. I’m also working on a growing series of epistolary novels and Oz prequels that combine my love of literature with my fascination for myth, magic, and memory.
